Angelo Licata- Casino Table Game Calculator

Casino Table Game Calculator
by: Angelo Licata

Problem: New-Product Strategy:
While at the Turning Stone Casino in Mohawk Valley, New York, I came upon a major problem while my friend was playing Blackjack. It was well known my friend was obviously on the winning side, but was not known was how much he was up. As you may know the card game Blackjack is a fast paced decision making game that calls for quick thinking and quick wagers. The problem was if my friend knew the amount of money he had, his tendency of making such big wagers would have been delayed causing him to be in the game longer. By realizing how much money he had, he would have placed smaller wagers which would be to his benefit giving the chance for smarter and more tactical bets. I believe if every table game in every casino provided a table game chip calculator, it will benefit the gambler. By providing service to the gambler and their needs, Casino's world wide that provide the table game calculator will be favored for their considerate customer care thus resulting in more gamblers and most importantly more money.

The table game calculator, would be available for all table games that casinos require currency to chip transfer. The table game calculator works with one major goal, to count the gamblers chips for more educated wagers. The product would be a small cartridge that has seven slots or more, each chip that is worth a certain amount would be given their own slot. A calculator device that will read the chip will give the gambler the amount of money that is in their pot, and the amount of money that is wagered.

Idea generation:
I created the table game calculator for many reasons, the gambler, the casinos and organization. This product would be a perfect fit for all three reasons. The gambler would benefit from this product because they will be given the chance for more educated wagers in a quick fast paced card game enviorment. The casinos would benefit from this product because it will show their customer care, attracting more gamblers by making them believe they have a better edge towards the game, which realistically they do not. Organization would be a clear idea, the table game calculator keeps the chips in a way more organized fashion.
